7 Fires in the Southland
It's the time of the year ... Santa Ana winds are picking up ... The danger for brushfires increase tremendously ... There have been at least 7 fires reported this afternoon. The closest for us have been Aqua Dulce, Chatsworth, Castaic, and Placerita Canyon.
This time it is different, for the fires are spreading quickly due to high warm winds caused by the so called Santa Ana winds ... houses have been threatened. Around 2.45 pm the sky suddenly turned dark above our apartment. Smoke was all over the city; ashes were falling.
Tonight, we have seen fires right in the middle of residential areas all over Canyon Country ...
